I wandered around today photographing some local houses of worship.

Old church architecture is something I enjoy looking at.  But my favorites are the old country churches like the second one posted above.

Yep, I'm partial to those as well.

Nice photos and each church has some unique architecture.  A few appear to have "expansions."  I tend to like the city churches for design.

I hope churches will eventually get back to building architecturally beautiful churches again. In my area any new church built always looks more like a circuit city than a church.

Nice pics shot with what camera? Looks very rural in your area. I like the colors as well.

Thanks, gentlemen.
These were shot with a Canon Powershot S70. That and a Kodak C195 EasyShare is about it for me digital-wise. I do shoot with a Konica AutoReflex T 35mm film camera, but I am waiting on pictures/digital scans of the last roll I shot.
I love shooting film, but I supplement judiciously with digital.

I love seeing all y'all out for great walks, taking pictures of what inspires you. My inspirations are different, but I respect everyone's sources of art, culture and spirituality. God bless you all!

I snapped this in Iona, Nova Scotia.  But, it isn't a functioning church.  It's a miniature, and appears to be a shrine.  Doesn't actually open.  But it sure looks nice.
