What are some especially long lasting shaving soaps and creams that you've personally used. Here's one that I've been using recently and it has lasted me forever it seems: Stirling Soap Company Gin and Tonic shave soap. I've been using it for several months now and still haven't used it all up completely. Beats me why some soaps and creams last forever and others get used up in just a few quick shaves. This one is kind of hard and waxy, I guess this must have something to do with it.

Some of my favs are veg:
• Martin de Candre "Originale"
• Saponificio Varesino "Felce Aromatica Reformulated"
• Meissner Tremonia "Indian Flavour" (seife)
• Osma Alum
Each, last for more than half year.

I notice that triple milled soaps really last a long time like Tabac & AOS tallow. For non triple milled soap I noticed Mikes Natural Soap last a very long time. Stirling is a softer soap but you are correct that it does go a long way. Also happens to be my#1 soap!

I used the Stirling Almond this morning with chella cool aftershave, and a late 50s Super Speed TTO! It was a beautiful thing!

No mention of DR Harris yet. It took ages before I could even see an impression in the puck! Someone in the B&B 3017 thread used it for over 200 shaves, and I think someone else went even longer but I stopped visiting.
I think the Palmolive sticks last "ages" too; less than 1g per shave and they weigh 50g.

Another vote for D R Harris. I’ve probably passed like a dozen shaves on my Windsor puck and it still looks nearly unused. I also have their Arlington, Almond and Sandalwood. Because of the size of my ever expanding rotation I probably will still have those 10 years from now, LOL.
