I tried Cella for the first time this week and am very impressed.  I have been using ABC cream for a few years and it is one of the best products on the market.  Cella is NOT as slick as ABC and the post shave is not as good, but Cella is more than adequate.  Cella costs $11,  ABC  $79.

With the $68 in savings someone can buy a whole lot of extra great soaps that's available on the market today! Even though I have better soaps like my favorites Stirlings & Mikes I'm still a big fan of this Cella classic soap. I certainly agree with you that Cellas performance is more than adequate. For a simple and basic tallow soap it definitely gets the job done very easily! Cella is selling their soap now for about 120 years, so they must be doing something right. I think they will still be around for a while.
Simple, basic, always available, very dependable, & extremely affordable!

Happy Shaving!

Cells is a very good soap and, at its price point, a very good value.

Always bought bricks - tried to get friends to share but if not just parcel out portions to a tub and keep remainder air tight or will brown - still works just looks less appealing

I just tried Cella for the first time a half an hour ago, and in my opinion it is better than Boellis Panama in every category except packaging/presentation!

The two are not even in the same solar system as far as presentation goes!  I am trying ABC later this week, and I am looking forward to seeing how it stacks up to the other two!

Isn’t that the truth! Same with razors and brushes!

I put Cella into a tube to make a stick out of it and it turns out To be one of the best sticks I have. Maybe the best.

Cella brick 1 kg owner here.
Also own Boellis almond and ABC.

To me Cella is 99% as good as the far more expensive other two.

Only one problem with my Cella.
If you rotate it like I do and own several 100 other soaps, the Cella will turn into a gummy brown hard paste within 6-8 months of un-use.

I threw a Plisson porcelain pot I had cleaned and filled to the brim with Cella brick out 3 weeks ago. I used it in 2017, so a good year of resting and the Cella turns into something quite unpleasant.

My Boellis and ABC extras have been resting for longer and they still look like new to my eye.

I have used ABC and Cella several more times.  ABC is slicker and I notice that I am still clean and smooth later in the evening.  I get stubble earlier in the afternoon with the Cella.  But I still shave the next morning regardless. So, while ABC is a little bit better, Cella is a much better deal.  By the way,  Boellis Panama did not work for me at all.  I gave it away to a friend.
