The little town I live in has some historical areas, and I spent a few hours today photographing Main Street a bit more fully, and then wound my way around to Chester Street, which is one of those historical areas.
Among other buildings there is a place called Belle Boyd Cottage. There are a few places like it, where you can have small, guided tours, etc. But most of them will not let you take a camera. It was explained to me that some of these places have had problems with people using cameras to do a bit of "shopping" (read that as thievery).
So I decided to take a few shots of the exterior building and the small garden there. I hope you enjoy them.
By the way, if you are interested in who Belle Boyd was, here is a bit of information you might find interesting.

And a link to the Warren Heritage Society about the cottage itself.

Thanks. i can't wait! In three or four weeks this place comes alive with color as Autumn rolls in. People come from all over the world to view the Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains at that time of year.
