If you own a  Declaration B6 brush or a reknot with the B6 knot, please give your impression of that knot. If you own the B6 as well as any of the other B knots (especially the B4 and 5) please make a comparison.

Very interested to hear the impressions of the new B6 knot compared to the B5.

The B6 is similar to the B5 the tips are the same softness the B6 has more backbone where is the B5 seems softer because of the less backbone but still good backbone. I enjoy them both my least favorite was a B3 and the B 4 the B3 had the most scratch to it and I like more gel soft tips. My favorites are the B1 B2 B5 and now B6

I have a B3 and 2 B5’s and love the B5’s. About to have a C&R titanium sent to Scott for a B6 knot. Just wondered what it is going to be like. Thanks for that!

I have the C&R B6. As I just said the B6 is similar to the B5 but it has more backbone.

Good to hear. I have a C&R B5, a Declaration B3 and an El Druida that I had Scott put a B5 knot in.

What was the issue with the B4? I just got one recently and it has the softest, most cloud like tips I have ever felt, and that includes a B2 and a Paladin with the CSLD knot. To be fair those two are close to the B4 in feel and the CSLD would probably be just as soft if it had a little less density or backbone.

Nothing was wrong with the B4 it's just that my B1 B2 and B5 had softer tips. Sometimes the same batch of knots you could get softer tips and is variation maybe you got a really good one

That is true. Going back to my CSLD example. I also had another CSLD that was not the same. It had similar construction but did not have the same soft tips. It was actually identical to a CSLE that I had, so maybe it was a later CSLD than the one I still have.
