I used the Green tub/jar today and I have to say it was a very easy and comfortable shave. The cooling felt great too.

It's still a classic, although I prefer the cream in the tube.

Ricardo, I should have mentioned that yesterday I had used a sample of the Wood & Spice cream from their newer Single Edge line and it was excellent, as well.

Is that a TUB of the shaving cream?  If so, where can I get my hands on one of those?  All I see are the massive 9.5 oz. bags of cream meant for barbers.

Matt, I've been wanting to try Wood & Spice, but it only seems to be available in the huge 9.5 oz. tubes.

Ricardo, there are samples of the Wood & Spice available.  I don't remember from which retailer i got mine, but they're out there.  I personally didn't find them to be a noticeable improvement over the less expensive ordinary tubes (which I like very much).

Proraso Green & White are my daily go-to's.

I have been in Italy for a couple days recently, and it's crazy how cheap all of the Proraso stuff is there. I paid like 2,50 € for the pre-shave cream jars, and 2,00 € for the shaving cream tubs. And you can get it in every supermarket or drug store.

Amazon.de costs like thrice as much...

Proraso was one of the first shaving creams I used and I still like it (green and red tubs, primarily).  It does not surpass many of the fine artisans we have today, but I still get good shaves with it.  Also, like the Proraso green and red aftershaves.  Sort of nostalgic for me to use it.

I need to get around to trying the new scents.

I've got three tubes, two never used. I didn't know they had something new, Wood & Spice sounds nice.

If you have the chance, smell it before buying it... If you think of buying it of course... Personally, I much prefer their classic line scents to this one.

Sorry... that's just an optical illusion.  It is just a sample in front of the green tub.

Prefer Proraso shave crème to soap and it is good for money but think cella better for the price.  However if cheap balm is sought, hard to beat proraso, especially the white

Used the tube yesterday. Great price! The menthol has a nice cooling effect. Again some great quality crème for a low price.
