I had a dreadful blade experience and can't quite figure out went wrong.
I had been using an Artisan Feather Professional blade in my aluminum RazoRock Hawk (SE), with the first three shaves having great results. Then I switched to a Kai Titan (Pink) Mild, thinking the shave would be smoother than the Feather. I nearly butchered my face with lots of dragging as I 'stubbled' my way through.

Is this because the 'so called' milder Kai requires a different angle?
Are there sometimes 'duds' with blades?
Is the Hawk and Kai a poor match?

I was on the verge of ordering a pack of Schick Prolines but now I'm not sure.

I love all the Kai blades except the Milds. Find them to be relatively dull and tuggy. Try the Originals or the Sharps and I think you will be much happier.

Will they fit the Artisan format as found in the SE Hawk?
