What varieties have just been ordered.?

The foamy residue left on the surface after liading the brush is the most wonderful pre shave, retrace and spread it all over.  These soaps seem to have additions which are 100% protective. Nicks are a thing of the past!

How much citrus do you get off Stella Alpina?

I read a comment on a thread somewhere saying Opuntia was light scented (least pungent of the ones they tried). I used Opuntia over the weekend and find the pair of shave soap and aftershave was very noticeable to my nose and on my skin. Maybe that was part of it. The scent could have been too fleeting or doesn't stay and linger on top of that person's skin (unique body chemistry).

Roy, it is funny you mention nicks in your post. I hadn't really thought about how often I get weepers. Maybe I'm wrong but it is possible my skin is less nicked with most shaves.

Yes zero nicks with SV. I use a Mùhle Rocca and it just glides over my face. .....no pressure. Soft and smooth after 2 passes plus touch up. Lather from other soaps may seem as good, but for me, I think SV has hidden properties which make a superior shave. It really brings out the best in my razor.

I had not used a feather blade with SV before. No cuts or nicks. So, I continue to think SV soaps have special properties.
Usually feathers have been terrible for me in the past.

Been using SV almost exclusively for a couple years. So far I've polished off a Felce 4.0, a Tundra Artica and a Dolomiti. Now most of the way through a Stella. I do bounce around a bit between flavors but usually settle on one for the long haul until it's gone. The big dilemma becomes what next. Flying Mango? 70th? Mirto? Felce 4.3? I guess I'll bounce around a little.

They really are wonderful shaving soaps.

I bought several and placed them in some Sapo Varesino square wooden boxes, and my girlfriend by mistake dropped one of my boxes with shaving soaps in them, and most of my Sapo Varesino soaps were there.

So now I only know Cosmo and 70.th of my Sapo Varesino soaps. The rest are now mixed up. I do own the black version of one of the soaps, bought 2 years ago. That performs better than the regular coloured version of it.

I truly enjoy them all.

I think I own 7-8 Sapo Varesino shaving soaps.

Will always support the brand.

Both Cosmo and Stella Alpina are fantastic scents. A very good performing range of soaps.

Flintoid,  I suggest Cosmo.  I find it has an unusual scent,  not strong, but lingers after the shave. Protection even better than the others I have tried.

Thanks, Roy. I do have a puck of Cosmo along with the others mentioned. I used it a couple times and then put it away while trying to use up a puck of Felce 4.0. Thanks for reminding me. I'll have to dig it out and put it up against the others.

Top tier in my book for sure. All scents are good, prefer the 70th & Flying Mango.
Simple packaging, long lasting, thick & slick.

Your SV will last several years if you use it once a week!

After the feather blade, Polsilvers are magical! Rocca, polsilver and SV are superb together.  Shaves are so good. WTG, ATG, then touch up with only a wet face.  Protection and glide top rate.

Am looking for a second razor as a spare, Any suggestions welcome!

Gonna last longer than that ! I got 10 different SV soaps. So bad, I've numbered them so I get a proper rotation .

They don't seem to deteriorate.  Unlike some other soaps, you can cover them and the soap dries in no time and is as hard as new puck.
