Inexpensive, is that like a mouse is as big as an elephant to a flea?
Thanks for any help

Speick.
Bloody good stuff, fully biological.
Cheap, at least in Europe. Less than 3EU fo4 a tub of shaving cream, cheap & great after shaves.
Highly recommended.
Weleda
Fully biological, again. Cream is ok. 8EU. Very good balm. Oddly scented. Not my cup of tea.
Annemarie Börlind
Great cream and balm. Cream 8EU.
Highly recommended.

Agreed on Speick.
If you are in the US try also these Artisan soaps, which are all relatively affordable:
Stirling
Catie’s Bubbles
Mike’s Natural
And compared to creams, the soaps will give you up to double the amount of shaves or even more than that.
La Toja Sensitive shaving cream is also quite a good affordable shaving cream with a mild scent.

not mentioned nearly enough....Green Mountain soaps
Triple milled tallow soaps with all natural ingredients. Their ingredients are food grade...meaning they are pure and gentle enough to prepare your food with. They are also the only triple milled tallow soap to contain glycerin. Light, pleasant fragrances that use essential oils only. No synthetics, parabens, gluten, etc.
a 4.25 ounce soap is $11.99 and because it's a hard, triple milled soap will last for months.
NOTE: there are a few old threads that describe this soap as "difficult to lather". That is false. Being a triple milled soap, it just needs more water than you may be used to if you are using a typical popular, softer artisan soap.

Agree with Ron Steelman (as I always do)
Triple milled soaps can be had with very natural ingredients and even if they seem a bit expensive, in the long run they will be affordable.
Don’t even think Martin De Candre is triple milled, but if you buy a Martin De Candre unscented shaving soap at a steep price, chances are you can use it daily for 8 months and still have some left, making it quite an affordable option all of a sudden.
