Thursday the new exhaust came, put it on Friday..... Aaaaa
The instructions claimed 60 min. installation... Dodgy
Reality was 180 min.. Facepalm   I had to make two trips to auto parts store and two trips to a hardware store.. Mad
But I persevered, sounds much better, has a nice bass rumble, not really annoying loud.
When I returned home Friday, the gear indicator had arrived..... Aaaaa
Installed that, this morning. Simple installation, but I need to "Program" it...... Undecided
Then I went for a three hour ride....SWEET... Eusa_whistle
Below are pictures of...... an ORIGINAL exhaust then the AFTER MARKET... Cheers

Nothing wrong with red Tongue

Making your motorcycle louder would probably be illegal over here - part of the registration approval is the noise level of the vehicle  Rolleyes

Here too....It's not really louder in DB, just a more bass, deep throaty sound instead of a high cry-baby sound.

Today I put the crash spindles on the front and rear. The rear also act as lift spindles, so I can raise the rear up off the ground and
stabilize the bike off the side kickstand. Picture below in order: without sliders....With sliders....On paddock stand, rear wheel up, bike
off side kickstand.

Made it back. It's a 45min. one way trip to the hangar. Flew for 30min. Operational cost on my helicopter is about $150.00 + an hour.
So, I limit flight time. It was nice and warm once up, that's due to "greenhouse" of the cockpit. First time I got to ride the bike and
fly the "flying bike" on the same day. That's what retirement is all about....PLAYTIME... Thumbsup
Oh, the 45 min. trip by land is only 14 min. by air.... Sisi1

An update....added the gear indicator a few weeks back, so I'm adding that pic. I put on the rail slider, kinda hard to do alone.
I had to cut my heat guard in order to mount it. I'm waiting on the Shark helmet, which was mailed today. It is coming from Belgium.
It's not D.O.T. approved for use in the U.S. but my state doesn't require a helmet......So I'm still safe and legal here.
GEAR INDICATOR  (0) is neutral.

FRAME SLIDER INSTALLED

Purpose of the sliders are to protect vital/expensive parts if I drop the bike... Tongue
Moving or parked.. Cheers

Continue the Shark story.....I've made 3 requests to the seller and 1 threat... Dodgy  No response, sooo I carried out the threat, contacted E-Bay.
If the seller does not respond by Tuesday 26th, E-Bay will make the refund. They asked if I wanted to return the helmet, no I really like this
one, can't get this one in the U.S. I've included a couple of pics. below.....

Today is the 26th. Ebay refunded $77.26 for the silver visor that was not shipped with the Shark helmet. I'm happy... Wink
Great helmet, good price, lousy service....until Ebay stepped in.
Next on my moto-journey is the attachment of my GoPro, charged it this AM.

Went riding this AM....Took 15 minutes changing the clock . It's complicated, to me. They can't just put a simple button on it !
Oh no....I have to get the manual out, go thru a dozen steps, all the time hoping I DON"T PRESS THE PIN SYSTEM PROGRAM!!!
That is like a PIN security thing, if I get into that....it could lock me out of the bike. Bike won't start, bike won't let me in to program
a new pin or what ever!!!!!! I DON"T KNOW ! I DIDN"T DO IT!!!! What do you mean you can't fix it !? I'm computer S-T-U-P-I-D...
I don't like pressing buttons......I don't have a smart phone because I don't like the idea/implication that it's "smarter" than me... Confused
Anyway, I got it set. I cranked it up, to make sure it still ran... Tongue
