This appears as a new item on the iKon website. It is thicker, heavier and slightly longer then the original handle.

I often wished the original bulldog was slightly longer, but it's thickness was optimal.

There seems to be a lot of consumer demand for larger/heavier so iKon's right on target-right on time, but it's not something I'm into.

Think UFO handles. They are monsters.

Great stuff Greg is producing. Love my Bulldog handle. Yes, these big one's seem to be the rage right now. This might go well, with a light touch, with that R41 type thing!

Wear steel toe slippers while shaving. That puppy will turn your toes to mush if dropped. It will take the sink and a piece of countertop on its way.
I have the original Bulldog and it is a fine handle, one of the best there is.

Someone talked me out of my original iKon Bulldog during a BST sale I was running on other items.Bought a seperate razor from me and also offered list price for my bulldog along with it even though I'd indicated it wasn't for sale.

The diameter and knurling felt perfect in hand,It's one of the few things I've sold that I miss.

As a side note, my wife was cleaning one day and decided to move my razor stand with a BRW mastiff off the top of the medicine cabinet. It slipped off the stand and literally broke the top of the toilet lid clean in two. True story.

I suspect any of the current stainless handles will handily do the same damage without a problem.

Jeff, great story. Good thing your wife did it herself as she would never have believed you. Smile

I am not sure a second job will help pay for all of the gear I want. Now I have three new handles that I want...so many choices, so little money Confused

The beastly, heavy handles have no attraction to me.

I find great satisfaction in using the early Weber classic (the slim one). If I want something heavier, I use an Ikon Bulldog.

The Tradere gets little use. Its just too much handle for my current preference.

Certainly handles, like most shave related items, are a YMMV category.
