I like the wooden bowls with lids that some soaps come with. I've searched with no results as where I can get any. The only one I can find is kingsley and I don't really like those. Does anyone know where to get these from, or maybe have them custom made?

Ebay and amazon sells some. Not sure on quality.

You can also get some from aliexpress.

That said, I'd wait for others to chime in if you want higher quality options. Personally I don't use the wooden bowls. I like glass better.

Wooden Shave Bowl

I'm not sure if that is the bowl that QCS offers (it looks like it), but if it is, it's worked well for me.

Nice, thanks for the replies. I want to buy them in bulk ( about 25 or so ). I have some glass bowls but it's a problem if dropped. I just really like the look of the wood bowls.

Here

Jerry, that bowl is great. I must shop around there for a cheaper alternative because I do want around 25 pieces.

I would email Joe at Shave-a-Buck. He seems to have the bead on the low cost/ value shave products, maybe one of his suppliers has them that he could bring in for you.

Wow, Jerry, that sure was a beautiful bowl! A tad pricey if you want a handful, but beautiful, nonetheless.

I agree but it is hand made out of maple and will probably last forever. Maple is a very hard wood.

I'm glad this topic was brought up, I've a Brut shaving soap that sits not being used as I've wanted to get a bowl like the ones offered by the 3 Ts to put it in.

Thanks

Some shaving shops sell the GFT, TOBS, C&E en DR Harris bowls empty and without brand sticker print on the lid. They are a bit pricey though, around 15 bucks each.

Those wooden bowls look outstanding. I have to wonder though, over time isn't that wood going to crack? All the wet / dry cycles over and over I would think are tough on something wooden. No?

Hi Guys,

I believe this is a Cyril R. Salter Bowl with a Lavender scent on inside. Hope that helps.

Great bowl as well.

This is the first time I have seen them. They look quite presentable, but I would imagine that they are quite light in weight. However, at that price, it may be worth trying out as it may surprise you. Frank Shaving does have some decent items. Good luck.
