I have been working with a machine shop on a hard anodized aluminum bowl that will fit Saponificio Varesino soaps (including the upcoming Asylum Colonia soaps). I picked up the prototype today and thought that I would share.

The production bowls will be black with a laser etched logo but, this gives you a general idea. The bowls are built like tanks and weigh over a pound when empty.

If the cost isn’t too prohibitive I would want a couple to store some pucks in

That's a beautifully machined aluminum bowl.  At one pound, it reflects total quality.

I love the look of machined metal... what is the tolerance between the lid and the bowl? Just curious Smile

Until now i’ve not been interested in an after market soap holder. The bare aluminum looks pdg.
