Hello!  Up for sale is a rare Gillette President. These beauties were done in rhodium, and this is quite the specimen!  The pictures don’t do it justice!

I am selling for $155, and that includes USPS Priority shipping to anywhere in the U.S!

Thanks for looking!

Thanks Garb! Yes...the Presidents are incredible shavers, but for my face the 1941 and 1946-47 Gillette Aristocrats are tops! So this one needs to go to someone that will appreciate it a little more!

It certainly looks great anywhere it’s displayed! A really nice jewel, and potential heirloom piece if someone wanted to go that route!

Thanks! This is a beautiful razor and they don’t come up in this condition very often!

I know I can get way more on eBay, but I want to sell it to our community...I just don’t want to take a bath or accept way less than what it is worth. I can be patient.

I think it will sell for about $175+ on eBay because of the rarity and condition, so once it hits $165 in a few days I will just try to maximize the price I get via eBay.

I hope everyone is having a great week!

I used to do it occasionally back in the day when I was selling vintage items. It works. Kind of an early bird special approach.

Yeah, I have to say if you really wanted to sell it to our community it’s probably counterproductive to be raising the price each day. It’s kind of at odds with the spirit of community.

Counterpoint: it’s not in the spirit of the community for members to squeeze every nickel out of a seller, but it happens all the time and no one says a darn thing about it.

Sellers should be entitled to at least a number approaching the fair value of a hard to find item. Fairness works both ways.
