Up for your consideration is a beautiful Muhle Silvertip Olivewood brush (21mm knot). It's a luxurious brush with solid backbone and a stunning handle. It has been used 10 -15 times and is in great shape. I find myself reaching for my other brushes more often so this one doesn't get the love it deserves. I've kept it on my shaving mantle just because it looks so good but it actually should be used.
Brand new at TSS is $115. **Silvertip Brush Reduced $90 to $75**. (PayPal, CONUS included)

Thanks for looking!

It is still available.
Unfortunately loft was not specified in the specs when I purchased it and I don't have a caliper to accurately measure.

Based on the sight test next to some of my other brushes where I know the loft, I would say it is around 56-57mm.

I can take pics with a couple of well known brushes if you are interested.

I prefer a loft of 48-50mm, so if you can take a photo of it next to a brush with a loft near that, that would be appreciated.

You can just use a ruler. While a caliper will get you the exact loft down to the millimeter due to those handy prongs, a ruler is nearly as accurate.

Will do. I'll post it up tonight. It's possible that I overshot the estimate but I do believe that it is a bit of a lofty knot. We'll find out when I take + post the pic.
And if I can find a ruler, I'll take a measurement with that as well. Problem is we are in the middle of packing up for a move so I may have trouble locating one easily.

Here it is next to a couple of other brushes
Colonel X2L - 46mm loft
Vie-Long BGS Horse - 55mm loft

Unfortunately I can't find a ruler - must be packed away already.
Hopefully this helps.

thanks for the photos man.

I'm going to defer with what Teiste has told me since he's far more experienced with brushes than I am and say I'll have to pass.

glwts!

No problem. It's not a brush for an exclusive face latherer.
