I recently had the opportunity to make this Autumn soup in my crock pot.  It turned out rather well, but then, it was a simple recipe with only seven ingredients.  It had the consistency of tomato soup except with pumpkin instead of tomato base.  Anyone ever try this, whether eating or making it?  What other Fall soups do you like when weather is colder?

My wife makes an excellent pumpkin soup, only she bakes it inside the pumpkin shell, which then serves as a tureen on the table.

Sounds great. Wonder how it’d be in a Dutch oven, reduced slightly.
