Probably these are now discontinued... If you can find them, I'd say get a few before they're gone and prices go up.

One of my favorites...

I heard this rumor a few years ago.  I checked our local supermarket this weekend and the shelf was full.

I read that they're being priced for clearance in the UK.

Well this is curious.  I bought a few the last time I was in Tesco (big UK supermarket) and they had plenty at the time.  I went to two Tesco superstores today and not only were all Palmolive shaving products gone, there was no shelf-space for them.  I'll try another market tomorrow maybe and check but these may be gone.  I'm not really bothered, I didn't like them.

I was told that they're most probably discontinued by a vendor here in Greece. He was having trouble ordering them last time he checked.

Sure there are plenty of great products, but this was pretty affordable and does the jod very good. Also, I enjoy its scent, even though it smells a bit strange.

Have a tube (not the stick) in my dopp kit.  Every time I travel I am reminded what a great cream it is.

Love the smell, instantly makes me think of summertime.

What a bummer! I bought 10 when I was in London on vacation - went to a 24hr Tesco and the cashier gave me an appropriately questioning look. I probably still have 5 or 6, so I'm not sure if I should actually stock up while I can. But I'm going to have to give it some serious though.

These are no more rumors for our UK friends. It's sad to see such a good and affordable product no longer be available in a country. Is this a result of the Brexit? I think we'll never know for sure.

I wouldn't be surprised if they stop production in general and not just for the UK.

At least, I have a stock of these.

FWIW: I'm looking at German stores and they seem to be out everywhere.
If they are still available in the States this could be because they are likely to run out faster near the source.
So... yeah, could be.

Interesting. Looks like the price is already going up. One seller on Amazon is selling “Colgate Palmolive Shave Stick by Colgate Palmolive” , for $24.99 + 10 for shipping!

I'm not going to worry - there have been too many product scares that I've bought into already.  I recall specifically when Floid Blue was announced as dead (it was sold for a couple years after the first scare) a Canadian Vendor moved their price up + 40%.  Kinda like when a fire in LA makes the gas price rise that day in Michigan .. but when the fire is put out no price decrease.  We are all dolts

Palmolive stick production has definitely ceased for the UK market. This was officially confirmed by Colgate-Palmolive to a couple of ATG members, here in the UK, a month ago. Declining sales was the reason given.

So they just stopped importing them but still in production?

If I make no mistake these are made in Germany.

Yes, I believe they are made in Germany, Nikos.
The emails from Colgate-Palmolive made specific reference to the UK market only, inferring availability will continue elsewhere.

My dear wife is currently in Munich so I asked her to ask for the Palmolive soap stick in pharmacies etc.
They are out of stock everywhere but the stores don't know or won't say if they are out of production.
It does look that way, though, as it is (only?) manufactured in Germany.

I was curious as to  what the cream was like, and bought a tube of cream for £1.49. Well, whilst it does not give as close a shave as a much more expensive soap I love ,it was as good as mid price creams. Where it failed was not nearly as good at leaving my face feel8ng good, and no great scent. However not bad at all and outstanding value. Like most soaps and creams, it takes a few shaves as regards how much water to use.
