MdC dries me out like crazy. I do dig the scents - Fougere & Vetiver though. No biggie really I just make sure I've got my Nivea balm handy and really slather it on after a MdC shave. Lathers easy like crazy and great cushion but I don't find it very slick. Even after I add a ton of water. Lasts forever for sure. A brain bowl would last me forever! Almost got one last year but thought loading my brush on off the MdC mountain top shape would be weird.

Loading the brush is weird but there is an easy solution, I hold the brain bowl upside down, then as you work up the lather gravity loads it into the brush. Zero waste, a little odd at first, but works very well. Used that way it does seem to last forever. I find more soap, less water gives the best result, using a straight. More water is good with a DE... Always a good shave with MdC.
