Hi All-

A mail call is scheduled for today. In the package, amongst a couple of other items, sits a very special brush. This brush was commissioned in connection with my wedding brushes- a 2017 project in which I gifted Paladin brushes to my groomsmen.

As a sort of anniversary item, I commissioned the brush to commemorate a few people that couldn’t attend the wedding (for reasons that I’ll keep to myself). Ken, Cody, and Pam surpassed my expectations- absolutely stunning. I’ll post a couple of pictures that were captured by Ken because a) I don’t have the brush in hand yet and b) Ken takes much better photos than I do. Fitting that the brush is scheduled to arrive today, during Día de los Muertos.

Beautiful handle Jorge.  What color is the resin?  Is it black or purple?

That looks amazing!  Happy anniversary Jorge and I hope you got your wife something half as nice as that so you make it to your next...  In all seriousness the brush is a lovely tribute and looks extremely well done by Paladin.

Looks absolutely incredible. Don't know if I've seen this resin from Paladin before.

The resin is indigo- the lighting makes it seem a bit dark. I’ll post some photos later in the day.

That is one spectacularly outstanding brush.  I like Paladin brushes in general but this one stands apart, in my humble opinion.  I'm jealous.

Cody knocked this one beyond out of the park.

If you just look at the brush in hand, you can't see the detail.

If you just see the photos (especially the macro shot), you see the detail but completely lose grasp of the fact it all fits into a space maybe a little larger than a fingernail.

When you put it that way, it really makes you appreciate it even more. Thanks for sharing, @chiefthunder

Great brush. To me, black would be more spectacular.

It is a very nice color. It's amazing how the lighting can affect the perception of the color.  The handle looked purple to me in the first pictures.  Anyway, it's another amazingly well done job by Paladin.
