Hello,

I recently bought a WR2 Wolfman with WRH7 handle and the puck stand. All polished.

I love the item, but it’s the original blade gap and just way too mild for me.

Because of this, I’m interested in trades. Particularly CH1 and CH3 faux ivory silvertip two band. If someone has another WR2 head with more aggressive gap, I would trade that too.

Trade for or towards bbs-1 always an option if someone has one.

Thanks for looking. I paid ~500 CAD for the item. It’s in flawless shape and comes with original box.

Sorry, just looking for trade options currently.

The problem is, offers are all over the place to buy. I think it’s just fair for me to look for the right trade. Still looking for the chubby one and chubby three silver tip two the band Simpson’s.

Just as heads up, although never used one, from people experts on brushes and having used them all inc simpson silvertips, the dec b5 & b6 are ostensibly the best on the market at the moment by a goodly margin and seemingly a great trade proposal.

The Wilborg brushes to most brush collectors are the holy grail of collectible shaving brushes.  It's completely normal for these change hands for over the $500 US dollar mark.  This is something that you could trade the razor for and trade for pretty much anything.  A shaving item that could be used to trade for other exceptionally difficult to get items.  Or perhaps you could sell it outright and buy two of the Simpson brushes you're seeking out.

The Declaration Brushworks are in my opinion the finest brushes being made at the moment.  They're constantly sold out and can also be very difficult to get.  Not as difficult and pricey as the Wilborg brushes but perhaps slightly even better performance wise.   Another very difficult item to get as these are possibly the best brushes ever made.  Not sure that a Declaration Brush by itself would be an even trade but it's a hell of a nice starting point.

Both of these brushes I suspect are far superior to the Simpson brush you're seeking out.

You're getting some really good offers for the WR2 whether you realize it or not.

The gentleman is interested in a Simpson Silvertip. Lecturing him on what he should or shouldn’t be interested is just bad form...

Thanks! I’m not too impressed with the wiborg, declaration, or varlet. I’m open to offers but I just don’t know enough about them.

I’m also open for trade towards bbs-1 if possible. I have many items we can discuss to add to trade as well.

Thanks!

Not lecturing and nothing negative intended.  Only good intentions here.  I hope it didn't come off the wrong way to the original poster.   My apologies if it did.

No worries! All good vibes here.

Just hoping to accomplish the above trade. Wishful for a member who will trade for bbs-1 without gouging my eyes out haha.

Thanks!

Yes was same here. Look I have a silvertip chubby ii so not as though biased against. Was only trying to give a heads up that these were items possibly worth muliples in mkt value of what he was seeking. Was neither disparaging nor pressing any particular trade. Frankly would hope others advise me when potentially more lucrative trades are profferred so please do in future gentlemen

Good evening
I am that lucky guy who won this WR2 at eBay.
I own probably around 10 Wolfman WR1 razors, BBS1, Paradigns ...and I am looking for 0.86 gap WR1..
I own several Wiborgs, Declaration and all other wonderfully brushes ..
And
It is all about preferences and experiences ..
In fact I love Romera brushes as mush or even more than
..everybody wants here ..
I am a buyer, I do not sell anything and I will let everybody know if any disappointments with WR2 ..
I doubt
Alex
