As I wait for my vector - a questions - how many comfortable 3 pass shaves does one get with SE blades?

I can generally get 8-12, 4-pass shaves from a feather pro/pro-super.

Feather Artist Clubs I usually get about the same (10-12 shaves), 3 pass shave.  Gem blades are more like 7 shaves for me.

I get about 1 with a Kai, and 0 with a Feather.

It is not the type of razor that matters, but the difficulty of the beard and the quality of the prep.  As I aged, my beard became more difficult to cut.  Today it is the same as copper wire.  Even with a shower prep, a new Feather DE or Artist Club blade will pull trying to cut the beard around my mouth.  I usually toss the blade after two shaves.  Gem Teflon coated blades seem to hold up a bit better possibly due to their thickness.  If I had a goatee, I could get 3 or 4 shaves out of any of these blades.

I have noticed that all my blades perform better if I am cutting a week's growth.  I think it is due to the longer beard holding moisture better.

If your beard is easy to cut, the number of shaves per blade depends on when you stop enjoying the shave.

I usually get 20 2 pass shaves with my kais so this seems to be spot on.

I would say about twice the amount you get with your DE.

I generally toss the blade after a week (7 days) of shaving but, I am sure you could push it further.

I have the Feather pro and Schick proline p30 blades.
The Schick blade has sharp corners.
Has anyone else experience this?
The Schick is the blade on the right
The sharp corners are only on one end

I used to get 10 - 15 when I had my three Cobra Classics.
I plan on getting the new Vector, so I'll see if I can repeat this longevity with the SE blades in this razor.   Shy

I use an old Schick Injector Razor and if I want to push it, I can get 14 days on a blade doing 3 passes.  But, most of my shaves lately have been two pass shaves so I can extend that out to about 21 days.
