Winter is nearly here in the Midwest (Iowa)

My skin, like many, dries out in the winter.

What ASB recommendations can the forum offer? I've got some Paladin, but it will run out eventually.

What else might I consider? Unscented, preferably, so it doesn't compete or collide with an aftershave or the soap itself.

Thanks

Soap Commander integrity
Simpsons unscented balm was great (now they have “skin food” which I haven’t tried)
Elevenshaving unscented
Village barber balm (not unscented, but the scent dissipates within 60 seconds and the balm is incredibly nourishing)

Baume.be balm
Crown Shaving Co. aftershave lotion.
Midnight & Two unscented aftershave lotion

All have tons of nourishing ingredients. Non greasy and are essentially scent free.

This gets recommended often, I’ll have to give it a try.

I'm a huge fan of Taylor of Old Bond Street's Mr. Taylor's Luxury Aftershave Balm.  It's a little pricey but all you need is a tiny bubble on the tip of your finger and it covers your entire face.  My face dries out in the winter as well.  I used to use Olay Complete when I used a cart.  I've also tried Proraso White and Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm.  I prefer the TOBS by a mile.  And the scent is very mild so it doesn't conflict with whatever I decide to splash on there.  I always do the splash after the balm.  Just my two cents.

I really like the GFT Skinfoods as I also use a moisturiser cream as the final step in my after shave ritual.

GFT Skinfood is very thin yet it works great and I think I'm hooked on this product for as long as they make it.

I opened my coral GFT skinfood in October and now after 15-20 shaves later using the GFT skin food everty time I still have more than 80-85% left in my 200 ml bottle.

So even though a bit pricy, a 200 ml bottle will last you for 100+ shaves/applications.
