I have 3 of them in a box with 3 packs of blades (4 in a box for 0.10 cents)..blue steel famous since 1880 ..made by 6NX process...Star Division American Safety Razor corp....the box label says $1.00 Value Special .49 cents!!!!!!!!!!!!....The Dermal-line shave...sure grip handle .....amazing deal by today,s standards...also says Brooklyn 1. N.Y......seems to have aluminum base plate and a variety of top caps and handles...have not used mine in quite a while...going to try it tomorrow.....

I have that one as well...only issue is the plating quality on the top cap...(the part that touches the blade)...mine are the nickel,aluminium and gold..(plating)

Harvey, has the plating deteriorated since you've owned the razors, or has it remained static?

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll be sure to dry it thoroughly after each use. So far I see no plating issues. I just recently acquired the razor and enjoy admiring it as it sits on my shelf. Besides it’s funky uniqueness, it shaves so damn well!
