Just got one of these and when you consider the cost and easy availability I must highly recommend this razor....it is called the MARVEL by FINE ACCOUTREMENTS...only $40.00 and it shaves great...nice plating and can easily use any handle if you find the original a bit short.....with all these new razors coming out at such high prices it is nice to see something for a much lower cost that looks  and shaves great and can actually be ordered....check it out.

The odds are the zinc which is quality plated will probably outlast all of us....this is an excellent razor..shaves extremely well and can be used with any handle....(the original is a bit short for my hands)...I,m reaching for this razor almost every shave...might even pick up a backup. Also their aftershaves and soaps are excellent and very reasonably priced.....love the classic American Blend

I saw this razor online a couple of months ago or so and was intrigued.  After reading your post, I gave it a second, closer look.  Simply from looking at photos, this appears to be a razor unlike others.  The razor head appears to be quite unique.  Comments state that it has some good heft to it.

Certainly looks worthy of adding to a razor collection based on the razor head design alone.Smile

I like mine just fine. Uphill battle marketing a new Zamak razor at the price point I think

I did not care for mine. The head seemed too bulky for me.

A great razor. The head thins down at the business ends and it shaves almost as if there is no blade in it yet it is very efficient. It makes shaving too easy. That may be a drawback for some.

Head looks bulky and seems like shaving under the nose would be trying, even when pulling the nose out of the way. And I already have several zamak razors that I bought early in my journey and which now sit in a plastic bin. If because it is made of zamak two would have to be bought, I’d rather invest the same amount in a Karve made of brass, is open comb and getting stellar reviews.

Not at all. It is very well made and as I said it is not bulky at the shaving ends. The Rockwell, many tto's, Timeless and others are far bulkier. As I said the shave is incredibly smooth and efficient. But I know you don't want zamack razors. Each to his own. It is still an incredible razor. Don't you have multiple old type razors? Drop an open comb on the floor and perhaps a comb will break. Woops. Glad I bought that pristine duplicate backup. In fact you have many razors and I assume many duplicate types.
But I expect the Marvel razor will last quite a long while if not for scores of years.
