Welcome, Jerry from Texas. Without a picture of your face and head, it’s kind of a moot point. Take it from a bald guy, wavy hair is super desirable! When you get a chance, post an introduction on the introduction thread. You’ll get a proper welcome Smile

I'm getting ready to make that leap! Probably this weekend. I got a mach3 at CVS yesterday for the deed. I've been going with a number 2 with a strong fade at my barbers for years. Top of the dome is basically bald and the spot on the back is getting bigger according to the lady. Time to go hair I'll miss you haha!

My hair gets kindof wavy too, which I'm not a fan of, so I'll admit that I've taken to flat-ironing it once a week or so. My wife didn't know I was and walked in on me in the bathroom once with her flat-iron in my hand, I wish I had a video of her reaction...
Blow-drying can also help reduce the waves, depending on how long your hair is you can try blowing it forward/down, that helps mine get a little bit straightened out. And use some strong hair product that will hold it in place! The artisan hair product market is actually kindof similar to shaving, lots of smaller producers out there nowadays.
