What might do that? The Shea butter? The ingredients look  harmless to me otherwise.
If I make no mistake, it contains clay. That ingredient can cause such skin reactions.

Not as far as I can see, unless I'm missing something. This is what the tin says:

Don't believe everything you read on a label, often they LIE..... Sisi
Such things as fragrace….perfume, can/does contain all kinds of unlisted often even unknown ingredients by the soap maker. Other "natural"
ingredients purchased by the soap maker may/do contain ingredients out of the soap makers control.

I don't know, in this case no perfumes are listed and I sincerely doubt that a small family company like LPL would dare to cheat by deliberately omitting an ingredient on the label. If they get caught the fine would kill the company. Hard to see a sensible risk-reward ratio for them in this. But that's just my opinion Smile
It is of course always possible something gets into the stuff by mistake but that's true for any product.

I am 99% sure it's been reformulated and the earlier versions of his soap contained clay. I don't have it anymore to post a picture of the ingredients list.

Good options out there to try.

1. Ask Larry at CRSW for an unscented version of his soaps.

2. MDC Unscented

3. LPL Unscented

4. Tabula Rasa Unscented

5. Xpec Unscented

6. Valobra Unscented

At one point I thought about going the Unscented route, but so far no problems with staying with my (far too) many scented soaps.

Do you ever feel like the soap scent might clash with whatever AS you may want to use?
I've looked into unscented ones for that reason but so far in my limited experience with shaving soaps I have not felt it was a problem.

No clash at all.

As a scent fragrance enthusiast I also have to say one can overthink things to a level where it gets absurd (no pun intended here)

The scent from my shaving soap will be shaved and rinsed away during the shave and my after shave routine (where I wash my face in cold water, then Thayers witch hazel, then AS splash, then AS balm followed by a moisturiser.

There are so many unscented soaps why is this a problem? If you want the best do as others suggested and contact CRSW. I'm sure Larry would be happy to help you out.
