Does anybody make a soap that just smells like “ordinary tea”? (Whatever that means.) Not Earl Grey, not smoked, not mixed with a half dozen other scents. Just something that smells like a bag of Lipton, Tetley, etc.

Dapper dragon does a green tea and bergamot.  I would think a straight green tea would harder to find.

Love it! If anyone can take a tea scent to the next level it’s you Larry.

I’m not aware of any but I would be interested to know the same thing. Tea fragrance is a very fragile thing.

Oh great, now the pressure is really on!   Tongue

I’m going over my notes from researching tea fragrances. I’m looking at a fragrance compound (aroma chemical) that might show some promise. Not sure how it presents in soap, we shall see.

Proraso in the white tub (or the same cream in a tube) is the only tea scented soap I've used. I really enjoy it.

I just got a tin of scheermonnik 1778.  It's supposed to be black tea and honey but I smell cinnamon and other spices with the tea.

Russian Tea is one of my top 5 scents of all time. I wanted to love Strop Shoppe (bought 30 tubs) when I started wet shaving about a year ago. Sadly, the base didnt work for me. I'd put allot of her scents against any of the current artisans. For being a doctor she had a good nose when it came to shaving soap.

I reached out to Stirling about 6 months ago because of their work with Baker Street to see if Russian Tea was possible. With all the possible scent combinations he didn't think it as doable.

If anyone with a half decent base could replicate Russian Tea it would be the soap of the year hands down. I had 3 tubs of Russian Tea and was able to unload them within seconds of putting them up for sale.

I don’t know anything about this artisan, but CBL Premium Shave Soap has a Russian Tea Soap.

I just ordered one of their Cigar Shop Cowboy soaps, so we will see how it does once it arrives!

They supposedly have great residual slickness and post shave feel!

Chiseled Face Easy Street . It was an old line, discontinued, and brought back. It's a nice one, I have the aftershave splash.

Glad someone asked this. The scent of Yunnan black tea or aged raw puerh tea would be amazing.

Looking forward to more than the two reviews I seen from the same wet shaver.
