[Image: 3XqlB4o.jpg][Image: A7DCFoU.jpg][Image: 6eLfuKk.jpg]Some poor quality pics.  As I mostly fly when I travel and carry-on my personal gear, I carry all my liquids, creams and gels in the prescribed clear plastic bag and not the wet pack.

The Wet Pack is BEAUTIFUL! All the gear you included makes it even more so!  Thank you for posting!Smile

George, my friend, thank you for the kind words and the good wishes. As for the razor, at the last minute, I had replaced it with the OneBlade Genesis — in case my hands were a wee wobbly with all the medication.

Bryan,
The set up looks good. It's a good fit for this wet pack. I love the design of this type of wet pack, because it leaves room for a lot of improvisation.

Nice!Smile I used to think a razor as valuable as that should be left a home.  In retrospect, why?  If it gives a great shave, all the more reason to take when traveling.Smile  It makes the trip/visit/stay all the more enjoyable!Smile  Great choice!Smile

How right you are, my friend. Obviously I would hate to lose not only the razor, but also the brush and the wet pack itself. Still, as much as I enjoy the morning shave with my quality stuff, why short change myself and not take along what I enjoy?

Good luck with your surgery!
I really like your travel bag, mine is very crowded and messy.

I'm very envious of these fancy kits. I use this plastic pouch that my amenities from an MSC cruise ship came in. The "deodorant" is actually a repurposed container that has some AOS cream in it.

Gig, my friend, whatever works, although a British military style wet pack is worth saving for.

Charlie, my friend, rehab is coming along okay. I mostly stay around the house. The morning shave takes some extra work, and I sit down quite a bit, mostly while lathering, but I would not miss it daily. In a couple weeks I should be ready to go.

George,
Thanks for the suggestion. I've used Proraso Green before and it does make copious lather.
What I do now is to sit down while lathering and stand up while using the razor. I have a tall bar stool that I use while honing straight razors. I have moved it into the shave den. It's odd sitting down while lathering, but it never hurts to improvise.

Well, I had a shave with Proraso Green this morning (CO Bigelow) and boy did it wake me up!:)  You'll be standing through your entire shave before you know it!:)

I was just thinking about a travel setup.
the kit you unwrapped looks perfect. who makes it?
fill it with a 3 piece gillette tech with a short fat handle, cremo to avoid a brush. astra or gillette 7o'clock greens.
balm and lotion appropriate for 2 weeks in Aruba. perhaps something citrus?
so have you shined up your dancing shoes?
i hope you are getting better and better every day.

Thanks for the kind words, my friend. I am almost ready to go dancing.
In the meantime, you enjoy your time in Aruba. Nothing like sitting under a coconut tree with a chartreuse drink in hand. Yes, sir, that's the life.
The wet pack is made by Danes and Hathaway, a prominent British company known for beautiful leather products, and is available from Fendrihan:

Enjoy.
