A small Classic Moss scuttle.  I'll use it with my smaller brushes.

Very nice, John. I love your original Moss, and this one pairs nicely with it.

Thanks, Richard.  I have liked my large Moss scuttle more than any other I have tried.  I have not used a scuttle as small as the new one, so I'll be curious to see how well I can use it.

I should have posted this earlier, as it actually arrived this past Saturday. I’m waiting until Sunday to open it...

Biggrin soon, soon. When the box arrived, Gayle put it in the pile with my other birthday gifts. Didn’t matter that this was self bought. Gotta wait until tomorrow!

It's a beauty Charlie.  I haven't seen that handle shape from Bob before.   Photos can't capture the grain on Bob's ivory material, so the brush is even nicer in person.  I know the Manchurian White knot will be great.

Thanks, Ricardo. The handle is a one-off. Bob showed me a different ivory piece first. It was a beauty but taller than I wanted. He was kind enough to make this one, 60mm tall. The knot is 26/53. I haven’t used the brush yet as I’m waiting for my Saturday morning shave. Hopefully there’ll be some good daylight streaming in this weekend and I will try to capture the grain close-up.

Received this yesterday, the sharp eyed among you probably already spotted it in my SOTD this morning.

A freebie from a new artisan that is looking for feedback and reviews. The scent is good for sure, and we'll see how it performs Smile

Hans, how does one use it?  Is it for cleaning the face before shaving, or for use as a pre-shave oil?

January has been off to an exceptional start for me. Some basic supplies, but found a Gem at my local antique store to satisfy my RAD.[Image: f0d3a754770e12a38a52026c7ac6dc28.jpg]

Directions says rub into dry skin before rinsing off with warm water or a wet rag. Works quite well I think Smile
