Bought a new Semogue 1305, this was my last ditch effort at liking a boar brush. Sadly the boar is not for me. But maybe it is for you? I used the brush twice, but put it through about 5 hand lathers to soften it prior to actual use. I'd like to open this up to anyone who has never tried a boar brush, but will also open it up to anyone who has not tried the 1305. I'll keep this open till Sunday night (16 Sep 2012), announcing the winner Monday morning. Good luck!

Great PIF! You should really try it again, 2-3 weeks is normal break in time.

Excellent PIF! i am NOT in. You should really consider keeping it a while longer to allow it to fully break in as it is a superb brush.

I have the 1305. It took me awhile to break it in. But now it's soft but has a lot of backbone.

This is a fantastic brush - what a generous gesture! I hope the winner will stop by the Semogue-tember thread and show off his/her new brush Biggrin

Thanks Rey for hosting a great PIF!
