Yes,after the best lavender shaving cream poll , comes the favorite lavender shaving soap.

We have many options but some of them are/have the same scent.Im talking about the soaps on this thread : http://shavenook.com/thread-vulfix-taylo...aving-soap

So we have so good ones out there and I woudl like to know which one you like the best.

For me , the best is Martin de Candre followed the Vulfix/TOBS/T&H/Cyril R Salter/Culmak shaving soap.

The worst is eshave lavender : very, very sweet notes of lavender.

What about you?

From what I've tried, definitely Martin de Candre. I love the earthy smell of it as opposed to overly flowery and sweet.

Pen's BB is also a fantastic scent, but it seems just barely lavender to me. It's too complex for my nose to discern.

I have never had the pleasure of trying MdC, so I voted for the generic Artisan Made option.

My favorite is Chianti Lavender by RazoRock

I would vote for Czech & Speake Oxford & Cambridge.

And Dr. Selby is also missing. Wink

Although Penhaligon's Blenheim Boquet has definetely Lavender in it, I would call it more a citric fragrance.

Martin de Candre, AOS Lavender and Dr. Selby.

The worse, by great margin: T&H. The unit that I received was terrible as a shaving soap, but was an excellent bath soap Biggrin

Savon du Midi Mistral is also basically a lavender soap (it's the dominant scent to my nose.)
