I have created an odd combination out of my Cadet OC head. I took a Sabi black resin handle and tried screwing into the Cadet head but it wouldn't fit. Threads must be a different size. So I took the Sabi straight bar top plate and used it with the Cadet OC bottom plate. That worked perfect. The top plates from the Sabi & Cadet seem to be identical. I shaved with it this morning using a Gillette Super Thin blade and got an incredible smooth and close shave without irritation.

That should look beautiful and extremely heavy. I don't know if the stout handle will fit the Cadet top plate. You might have to switch like I did.

Sweet! I'm waiting for more OC heads to be back in stock.
I have the same Sabi handle/razor so that's definitely an option.

Has anyone tried pairing the OC head with a Weber bulldog handle?
Curious if it fits...

I think so but forgot where its posted. My only concern is if the handle will fit the Cadet stud. The Weber might but the Sabi doesn't fit too well.

Yeah, the shank/stud seems to be too long (and maybe the threads are wound a bit different).
I saw a thread (can't remember where) that detailed how the poster was having an issue with changing handles on his fatip head b/c of a similar (same?) reason. He ended up sawing off the end of the shank and made a previously problematic handle work.
Don't think I'm going to go there.

I also snipped down the stud on the Cadet OC top plate but that was not the problem. The Cadet handles fit perfectly but not the Sabi. I am not sure about the Weber handles but I think someone had success with it. That is why I used the top plate of a Sabi with the bottom plate of the Cadet. Worked perfectly. That is the combination in my picture.

Beautiful and heavy handle. I thought the top plate of the Sabi was identical to the Cadet top plate. I found the aggressiveness still there.
