The old favorite, now long gone from the shelves and I find myself yearning for some of the Blue. Which modern reincarnation is the favorite in terms of scent? So far I've found Barrister & Mann Reserve Cool, RazoRock Blue Barbershop, and Epsilon Blue Mediterranean. So I ask to the experts, which one will fill the Blue void in my life?

Epsilon Blue is quite close to Floid Blue.  At BullGoose, Epsilon Blue is priced at $23.00 for a 500 ml bottle.  If Floid Blue was still available, I would probably still go with Epsilon Blue because it's a better value.

There's definitely the benefit of quantity with the Epsilon!

I have, like, and use all three you mention.

My order of preference in scent is:
1. Reserve Cool (by far the best IMO)
2. Epsilion (sometimes a little sticky, but not always, maybe a seasonal thing)
3. RR Barbershop Blue (not quite as natural smelling as the others, especially compared to Reserve Cool)

I haven't tried the epsilon one. But between the RR Barbershop Blue and the Reserve Cool, My vote goes all the way to the Reserve Cool. You can also get the Cool EdC to pair with the splash (The EdC is awesome, really like it)

I so much like the Reserve Cool that the Barbershop Blue has not seen any use in a long time.

An update. I decided on the B&M Reserve Cool, because it has a matching soap and B&M soaps are wonderful. The scent is spot on! I'm comparing it directly to my one bottle of Floid Blue Edt, and the soap is a near perfect match, the aftershave opens with less powder, but after 5-10 minutes smells the same. Very pleased with my decision.

Add on: this aftershave is lingering in my hands and it is a dead ringer to the original, true to the blue!

I have never even gotten a sniff of Floid Blue so I don't know which one is the closest in terms of scent, but I have bottles of Reserve Cool and Epsilon Blue Med and I prefer Blue Med for performance. It seems a little cleaner while Reserve feels like it has more oils in it. I like both for their scents, but if pressed I would say that I prefer Epsilon by a hair. RC is a little sharper with a little bit of a spicy note that I don't detect in Blue Med. Reserve Cool's scent is a bit stronger and longer lasting, though.

If you liked it that much, you should truly get the EdC. It is FABULOUS! So happy that I had bought it as I use it every week! Even when I am not using the soap/aftershave!

I would love to but I just don't have much opportunity to wear a cologne! An aftershave is the strongest I feel comfortable wearing at work and if I want stronger I do still have a fill bottle of Floïd Blue EdT. One day though!

The Eau de Cologne is less concentrated then an EdT. It is far from being overpowering. Just so you can know!

Way to go Johnny!   I'm rationing my one bottle.  The Epsilon Blue is such a good clone that I'll be fine.  However, I'd rather have six Floid stashed away.

I finally got some Floid Blue so now I have the Reserve Cool, Epsilon, and the original. The scents on those imitators are incredibly close to Floid. They did a great job. Reserve seems stronger at first, but does fade. It also has a little something that makes it spicier than the others. Epsilon seems a little milder. For performance there is a little better skin feel from Floid that I also noticed from their Vigoroso AS. I am also happy with the longevity of the original Floid Blue. It isn't powerful, but I can smell it all day. I like all three a lot and rank them as follows: Floid Blue (1), Epsilon Blue Med (2), Barristers Reserve Cool (3).
