Great news Phil ! Larry's soaps are one of the best on the market and his current Sandalwood is amazing. Thank you for bringing his talent to create extraordinary masterpiece for TSN.

Very cool! I love Glide. Larry was kind enough to develop a modified version of it for us to use in prepping knots.

Congrats on 10 years, Phil!

With only 120 units available will there be a limit imposed on the first wave of purchasing?

Larry remarked that the recent release was bought up in multiples of 10 and gone in a few hours.

A great day for Larry but... some of us with empty bowls  Babeando  wet shaving with our tears.

anyway, No one wants to limit anyone's opportunity to have a great day or a great shave.

A pre-order then divvy up if people order more than what is produced might work.

if demand is 1000 tubs but only 120 produced then a lottery might work.

or just keep to the human paradigm: haves Biggrin vs the have nots  Sad

That's funny!

I don't think demand will be as high for these units, compared to the new sheep's milk soap, primarily because of pricing.
I could be wrong, however.
Nonetheless, I trust Phil and Larry to determine the appropriate number for release so that everyone interested will get one.
It must be difficult to estimate demand I would imagine; many express interest on the forums but then fail to seal the deal.

Indeed, the next one is (according to the OCD Rules of Engagement) the best one of them all.

I think pre-order is a great idea. Then no one is left empty handed or waiting for the next batch (presuming there would be another batch).

This isn’t something that we can adjust by 25 or 50 or 75 units. A batch makes 120 soaps. Creating a preorder just creates more work... at least double. What I may do is limit the number of units that can be purchased in one order... at least initially.

More than fair as double work means triple price, perhaps a box on the order form to indicate how many tubs they would like to buy so those who would like more than whatever you choose to send at first would get the first chance to buy more. like a back order.
