I sometimes get spam from Chinese razor manufacturers om my blog... usually I just delete them, but the latest one not only to touted their knock off shavette as the best thing since sliced bread, but also included a tip for a better shave:

Quote:Tips: Before shaving, please hot pack with a towel for five minutes or use a shaving foam to soften beard, shaving will be more comfortable!

How come no one ever thought of that before??!?

That is a good tip. Apparently you need water or foam, but not both.

TSN is obviously an educational and fact checked forum.

But they don't tell you where to pack the hot towel.

Priceless advice. I'm going to start paying attention to Chinese emails too now. Who knows what other gems we automatically deleted before...

Bratten (see above) says the advice is "priceless." Of course the difference between "priceless" and "worthless" is just word-smithing.

That said, Hans is a never-ending source of true wisdom. Nookers, listen well.

Hallelujah, the scales have fallen from my eyes. I do, however, prefer lather over foam.
