Wow, those crazy teeth channels blur the lines between safety bar and open comb. Super cool slant!

Is the Fasan, a German or French razor? I don't know this one. It looks heavy. I have a wonderful vintage regular slant by Merkur, but love one of the twisted slants. I've only seen the Hoffritz.

Fasan are a German company who are know for their Slant razors. They are usually made of bakelite or part bakelite and metal this is the only all metal one I have seen. This one I purchased off a member of a UK shaving forum who lives in Sweden.
It weighs 65g, I am not sure what the base metal is but it has a very heavy chrome finnish.
As far as being aggressive, it is not for a novice at all (it got the nickname "The vampire".....Biggrin). But once you get used to it it is a very effective razor that can be used daily, but it does demand respect and concentration from the user.

German razors. There are plenty of slants, all made in Germany, from different manufacturers and under different brands.

Take a look here: How many different slants? You'd be suprised.
