I received a sad email from Avi that Raw Shaving was stopping production as of today. As many of you know I have been a fan of the RS10 and it saddens me that such a wonderful razor will no longer be available. Avi was a true gentleman and had excellent customer service. This is a sad day in the wetshaving community

This is very disappointing...I believe that the RS-10 is/was at the top of the game.  Magnificent shaver!

They were not produced for all that long, so I imagine the lucky few owners have gems that will be worth holding onto!

It is sad news indeed.

For those who may be interested, BullGoose still has some RS-18 in stock.  According to Avi, he will continue selling the lubrication strips for some time.

Sad news.  Avi is a great guy who stood behind his product.  The Raw Shaving razors are amazing!

It is indeed sad news. I enjoy using my RS18 and do not think anyone will ever top the presentation of Raw razors.

Sad news indeed!

I received my RS-18 that I bought at bullgoose yesterday. Still haven't tried it. It mean that I am one of the very last buyer of the RS-18.

I was thinking about buying a RS-10 in a couple of month. I might have to buy it very much sooner then anticipated!

This also mean that there will officially not be another try for a run of Titanium RS-10.

Will try to keep an eye on the BST if there is a RS-10 that pop out.

Phil,

You are right...the presentation is absolutely second to none!  That gets lost in the sauce when discussing the RS-10/18, because folks get so excited about the razor being an amazing shaver!

I just saw a "pre-order" on the RS-10 at Razoremporium with an expected release date on the 5th April 2019.

So, is this the last batch that will be available or they will be canceled?

It seem that they are sold out everywhere, have I miss a place where they are still in stock?

We will take them offline tonight. We have none in stock and obviously expect no more.

Avi told me that I would get another shipment in April. Today he announced the company is closed. Not sure what else to say this was certainly unexpected.

I hope that someone else will have remorse as I want to buy one of these if I can catch one on the BST.

It appears the RS10 razor is still available on Raw Shaving website however, you must purchase it as a set includes the razor and stand. Two different listings and it doesn't say which base plate comes with which set. I guess you need to contact Avi. The price however is $695.00

I read on another forum that some wetshavers that were apparently close to the maker know the details behind this decision but they were asked not to say anything. Who knows. I don't really care what happened, but it's sad for the hobby. It was a new brand, not too many have tried their products, but still.

Agree.  So sad to see someone who seemed to be at the top of the game give up.
