Never judge a book by its cover. Never judge quality by price alone.

I've owned and used Timeless, Paradigm, Colonial, Raw, and many other razors along the quality/price scale. My shave tonight with the inexpensive Razorock Old Type was just as smooth/nearly as smooth and efficient as the "premium" offerings.

Just FYI. Take it for what it is worth.

The RR Old Type is a nice razor.  I have one and find it to be very mild.  I also find it difficult to get a BBS shave with it.  I haven't used it in a while but maybe I'll pull it out soon and remind myself why I bought it in the first place.

To be fair I had 72 hours of growth when I used it. ANY razor gives a better performance with that level of growth.

The real test for any razor is when you use it for several days straight.

Very true; applies to soaps as well.
