Found this by chance shopping yesterday. Not half bad actually. Scent is generic citrus aquatic and forgettable for me but probably hard for anyone to call offensive. Performance is decent, cushion fir days but slickness is average. Could be I haven't dialed it in I only made a test lather yesterday to see if it was actually traditional shaving cream and then the lather I shaved with and snapped pictures of to share below. At $5.97 for 6oz more than acceptable though. Hoping this means our hobby is becoming more mainstream. A few quick pics. Last one was what was left in the brush after two passes and touch ups. Kind of a lot of product to get an average lather but whatever. Pretty good shave and fun to find a new cream locally. Definitely not a top performer but would be fine to discover wet shaving with. Sorry if this product was already posted about. [Image: HliHWP1.jpg][Image: OmduwrN.jpg][Image: Wk7ypGl.jpg][Image: wFm0dka.jpg]

Interesting, I haven't seen this yet. Thanks for sharing.
Can you share a pic of the ingredients list when you have the time?

FWIW here is coverage of an announcement about this from P&G last November:

P&G's Gillette going ‘natural’ with Pure shave gel, cream

By Barrett J. Brunsman  – Staff reporter, Cincinnati Business Courier
Nov 16, 2018

Procter & Gamble Co. intends to ramp up its products in the so-called natural category by introducing Pure by Gillette shave gel and shave cream early next year.

The Cincinnati-basFed maker of consumer goods (NYSE: PG) said the gel and shave cream products to be launched in North America will be free from dyes, parabens, alcohol and sulfates.
“We see a growing desire from consumers for natural products – especially in the beauty and personal care realm,” P&G spokeswoman Kara Buckley told me.

I previously reported that P&G is speeding efforts to take advantage of the naturals trend, which is spurred by consumer concern about ingredients. About two-thirds of consumers are aware of naturals or care about buying such products, according to P&G. Just seeing a particular ingredient on a label – or noticing the lack of harmful ones – is enough to persuade some to buy.
Pure by Gillette shave gel includes soothing ingredients such as aloe leaf juice, peppermint oil and menthol, as well as a fresh fragrance.

The formula is designed to help protect against irritation during a shave and lightly cool the skin, which Buckley said makes Pure the perfect partner for P&G’s new Gillette SkinGuard razor.
Consumers will begin to see the two-bladed razor, which is P&G's first one designed for men with sensitive skin, on store shelves as early as December with roll-out continuing into early 2019. About 70 percent of men say they experience some sensitivity when shaving, P&G spokesman James Williamstold me.

Both the Pure by Gillette shave gel and the shave cream will come in 6-ounce containers with a suggested retail price of $5.99.

The global market for natural and organic personal care products is growing nearly 10 percent annually and projected to hit $17.6 billion by 2021, according to market research firm Technavio

HaHa

The Princess Badger of Manchurian meets the pauper Gillette cream and together they whip up a little lather.

True love knows no boundary.

That's the list thanks!  I'll still snap a picture later but that is right.  And my brushes don't discriminate they are happy to work with any lather making fuel lol.

I also bought a tube at the Walgreens near me. I agree with your assessment of it’s performance. Nothing beyond average. The price is certainly right. Since buying it at Walgreen’s I’ve also seen it in CVS and Shoprite.

Thank you sir!

Looks just like most traditional shaving creams, plus aloe and peppermint (for it's natural menthol content).

Is it meant to be used with a brush?

I don't think Gillette expects most customers to lather it with a brush, but the pics show that it certainly can be lathered.

They say it can be used with your hands or a brush.  I lathered with a brush and it worked extremely well.

Just noticed improper labeling...
Net Wt. 177 mL

The Milliliter is a measure of volume, not weight. Wow.

Recall!

Good catch.  It should say Vol. instead of Net Wt. then.

Where is this made?  I don't see that indicated on the tube.

It came only as the tube there was no box so I'm afraid that is a mystery since there is no more packaging to find that on. It does remind me of the Indian Gilette Old Spice I recently picked up while on a work trip so maybe the same formula and plant? Pure speculation though.

No problem. I was mistaken it shared many of the ingredients of the old spice, also a p&g product, as I could only find the gilette gel that lathers like a traditional cream. Here is a picture of those ingredient lists. The gel looks rather industrial I'll not be using natural hair brushes with that one... [Image: 4vk3Xvj.jpg]

I've seen this around too: Target, Bed Beth & Beyond.
Too much other inventory on hand to be tempted.
