Now this sounds like a fun event. But, not only can I not afford to travel and stay there, it would kill me to look at all those shaving goodies and not be able to buy something. So I will just have to stay at home and read about.

Thanks for letting us know about this Phil.

Just curious - anyone that's been to this event: are people selling things or just showing them off? There are a couple rare items I'm looking for, and this seems like the place to find them.

Hmmmmm. If only I knew someone who is going. Sure would be nice to get the contact info of someone who might be selling a razor I'm after.

You could always call or email Jerry (see original post). He may know who has registered and what items the people are bringing.

Talked to Jerry today - super nice guy organizing a fantastic event. Understandably, he is reluctant to give out contact information for any of the vendors at the event.

So.... anyone here planning to attend?

I would love to attend the event, however a little far from me. I find that all these great events are located too far for most of us to travel to. Has there ever been an event in the North East, Boston, Montreal, New York; maybe I am biased because I come from Montreal and therefore would love for an event to take place at one of the aforementioned cities. Would be nice if those in attendance could post some pictures and or video clips of the event. And as another member said, it becomes quite expensive to travel and to need a wallet full of money for all the goodies that will be on sale. Anyways have fun and Happy Shaving. Sam.

I agree. It would be great for a forum member to post some pictures and details of the event. I'm seriously thinking of going next year. I checked the airfare to go to this one, and it would cost me at least $500. Ouch!

So, anyone planning to attend?

Phil,

Thanks for the info on this event. But unfortunately I will be in Canton OH that same meeting for a national Cast Iron Cookware Collector's annual convention.

It was a difficult decision to make as to which one I would attend but since both the wife and I have interest in the cast iron cookware that event won out.

Hope all who make this event have a great time.
