Gents,

I really enjoy the shave that the Genesis and Blackblade provide.  I also think that they look fantastic, and feel great in the hand!  I think I will use one tomorrow!

I hope that everyone is having a great week!

Thanks Jim! I plan to later this evening...probably the genesis, with Castle Forbes Lime, and that shave tonic AS to finish it off!

Have a great Thursday!

Nice OneBlade duo Matt.  Do you notice any difference in how the two razors shave?

Hello Ricardo, and thanks for the compliment!

I am happy to report that I do not notice any difference in how either razor shaves. They both feel exactly the same to me.

The Genesis and Blackblade are both easy, quick, smooth, efficient, and irritation free shavers!

Sometimes that’s exactly what I am looking for...a no brainer shave!

So is the Blackblade just a Genesis that you sent out to be plated? Never heard of a Blackblade before....

The Blackblade is a Oneblade Limited Edition. The company only made 101, and they will not be produced again. It’s a stainless steel oneblade with a “military grade PVD coating” that is black.

I did not send a Genesis out to be replated.

WoW an ebony and ivory combo to challenge Sir Paul and Mr. Wonder.

A beautiful pair of functional pieces of sculpture that may be found by archaeologists in a thousand years or so. SS and SS+PVD, what could happen to destroy them???

I wonder if they will wonder what these two geometrically precise instruments were used for?

Ha! I won’t be around, because these will surely outlast me!

I am glad that you liked the pics!

That’s a great looking pair of razors! I was watching and bidding on a genesis last week on the bay. Price went way higher that I expected. I can get a new one from oneblade direct with a blade plan and a warranty for less than the price of the used model. I still believe one will find its way into my collection sooner or later.

I own both a Genesis and BlackBlade as well the Genesis to me seemed more aggressive than the BlackBlade. Could've just been the the Genesis. So for me I prefer the BlackBlade but it's not a big difference deal. Although out of my entire collection I now 5 years later almost 6 strictly use the BlackBlade because to me the Oneblade is my answer to the perfect shave.
