I'm not a gardener. However, we have numerous orchids scattered throughout our yard. Most of them are attached to trees with their roots, which is how they exist in the wild, or they're in wooden orchid baskets hanging from trees. We don't do anything to take care of them. They're on their own, just as in their natural habitat. These orchids regularly bloom, in seemingly random fashion. The other day I noticed this one, which is particularly nice. It has nine blooms. What is amazing, which you can't see well from the photo, is that it also has 27 flower buds at various stages of development. This orchid will continue producing beautiful flowers for some time.
