Nice. Reminds me of pastries from a Georgian (Republic of Georgia) restaurant I know.
Georgian cuisine, as you may imagine, has elements of Turkish and Russian.

The sesame seeds are a nice touch.

Would have loved to see a cross section of the filling but Im sure they're gone by now.

Reminds me of German bierocks.  We make them with hamburger, cabbage and cheese.  Baked.
Some call them Runzas.

We typically dip them into yellow mustard.  Yummy
