Those 12 sold quickly.   To me it looked like all 12 had exceptionally well formed bulb knots.

I'd call them semi-bulbs, but that's more my own nomenclature than excepted usage. What I refer to as a semi-bulb has a rounded top (ice-cream scoop shaped), as distinguished from a full bulb (more parabolic -- egg shaped) or hybrid (softer, more rolled-off edge than a fan but less rounded, i.e., more fan-shaped, across the top). Of course, how a particular knot is set can dramatically affect it's shape. 

My own preferences strongly favor semi-bulbs and hybrids with moderate density.

Nice brushes. Is that ether ebonite a new color? What are the shades in that brush handle?

It's pretty new. I'm not sure whether we've released any before. It only contains on pigment, which is a blue that's lighter/brighter than Denim.
