Once I began smelling and tasting Tallow in my many Tallow shaving soaps,
I can’t seem to enjoy them the way I used to.
It started with the old Haslinger soaps where I really could sense the Tallow.
Now I also smell and taste it in other Tallow soaps. Yes, lathering around the mouth I will often taste the soap.
What are your preferred shaving soaps without Tallow in them ?
So far mine are Martin De Candre, LPL, Saponificio Varesino and Jabonman (non Tallow version) AND forgot about Nuavia. I own 3 MDC, 8 SP, 5 JM and 3 Nuavia.

I really like saponificio and cattie's bubble, there's one I also like that haven't been mentionned yet and it's Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements !
I know that their scent are really in a different league and on the darker side of the spectrum and might be polarizing, but the soap base of Southern Witchcraft is truly something great!
Honorabble mention to Siliski, Dr. Jons and Eleven (former Sapone Di Paolo)

SV is excellent, especially the 4.2 and new 4.3 soaps. WSP Rustic soaps are also very good with great scents (but I have to say that I prefer their Formula T [tallow] line). I get a nice, slick lather with ABC, but I have to shave fast because the almond oil starts to burn my skin if I take too much time. I also really like xPec unscented, but that's a cream.

First of all. I'm not into soap tasting
If you tuck your lips inward over your teeth while applying lather to your face, you won't have to deal with the "soap tasting" again.
Also, if an artisan soap is properly cured, you can't identify the tallow scent or any other unpleasant scent, like the ammonia scent caused by coconut milk. So, it's a problem these "artisans" have to fix.
The mass produced products that contain tallow and smell like this are only a few. Valobra are infamous for that.
I may prefer non-tallow soaps, but I can't argue that some tallow soaps are excellent too. It's a matter of preference and only a handful have that tallow scent prominent.

Please tell us which of your reddit sanctioned tallow soaps perform better!

Do you eat steak?
No. And no fish, chicken, or eggs either.
My favorites are SV, MdC, Bulgari Man in Black.
