Aaaah, Naples. I have watched My Brilliant Friend and really enjoyed the scenic beauty
of that area.
As to the brushes, I have learned that Alpha is two-piece (so you can change or rotate different
brush heads and hair varieties)....while BSB1 is one piece. Both seem well made but the flexibility
of Alpha is nice.
I think BSB1 is not anodised so may need to be polished over time to retain its shine. Alpha it seems
is anodised aluminum.
Both pieces have a nice retro feel to them although I won't be purchasing just yet.
Maybe when my current brushes are worn out.

I bought the Alpha from Steve with two ferrules. I've put a Declaration B6 in one, and a Declaration B8 in the other. Tremendous brush handle, and tremendous knots. I haven't tried the other, but the Alpha just works, and is beautiful.
