I have an itch that I need to scratch but can't decide what stuff to acquire. I am undecided between getting more software or brushes or razors.
I have close to 25 soap sets and few more Aftershaves.
Brushes : 9-10 brushes (5 Badger which includes Shavemac, Thater, Semogue and Maseto, 2 synthetics, 1 horse n 1 boar).
Razors : ( Oneblade, ATT SE1, Colonial Aluminum, REX, ATT S1 /S2, Rockwell 6s, a few GEM razors).
I have limited amount of money to blow and have the following in my mind :
Razors : Vector , PILS & RAW on my mind.
On software: Czech & Speake 88 set, Sebum Gold set, DG + Chatillon Lux sets, GD soaps etc. I need to PIF few of the older sets to make room for new ones.
Brushes : M&F, Simpsons, Shavemac etc is what I have on mind.
Need advise on how to plan my budget well so that I can use the amount in best possible way.
How would you have spent money or not spent at all, incase you were in my place?
Thanks in advance.

Considering that you mentionned RAW, I figured that it is a RS-10 you're looking for. Because of the fact that it is now discountinued and that it is still available here and there, I would go with that one first! I don't know if Avi still have some (even if the site says sold out), you can try to contact him.
It is a really awesome product and if you don't like it you will easily sell it without loosing that much money. (So, that way you would have wisely use your limited money!)
Pretty much everything else on your list can be bought later on...
That being said, I should receive my Vector in the next few days and I could give you my impression ( and maybe try to compare the RS-10 and the Vector, DE vs SE!).

Charlie, I for some reason like my horse / boar brushes equally better as my Badger brushes and it makes me question myself the need to acquire expensive Badger brushes. But then, when I see those great looking handles I ask myself, why not.

Yes, I myself was pretty much thinking on similar lines.
But I have no clue on the blade gaps on both the plates and neither have seen any mention in any of the posts.

Razors: Everyone should own a Pils. Titanium razor (Paradigm or Timeless) and Charcoal Goods in copper or brass.
Brushes: Ebonite handle. Brad Sears / Paladin / M&F brushes. Brushes is also my downfall and biggest weakness.
Software: list contains some nice choices. There will be several "great new soaps" coming out in 2019 (same as 2018).

Thanks. Any idea on the blade gaps.
I wrote to Avi twice to ask him these questions and he never answered me. One of those two time was the day I bought the RS-10 from him, he told me that he had to go out and will be back on it later. I wrote him back a week after and he never answered me! Which his a bit disappointing I must say!
At least, if you don't want to reveal these information, just tell it to me and I'll understand.
That being said, and I told that to Avi too, I know that blade gap is just one factor in the efficiency of a razor as head geometry also plays a big factor.
II have both plate and they are really great. Yes the mild one is really smooth but it is incredibly efficient for such a mild and smooth shaver.
The Aggressive one is a step above, a bit more aggressive then the RS-18, but is an awesome shaver! So far, I don't have a favorite plate. I choose the one I want base on the hours since the last shave!
But remember that if you eventually buy one and don't like it, you will easily can resell it for sure!
If you have other questions, don't hesitate!
EDIT : I just want to point out that maybe he wanted to not let the "Blade gap" factor play a role in people's decision to buy or not to buy his razor. For example, to me the Timeless Open Comb 0.95mm feel really smooth. There is some blade feel, but not that much for a 0.95 blade gap. I have tried other razor with significantly less blade gap that feel a lot more aggressive, R41 comes in mind with the apparently 0.23mm blade gap (based on what I've read).
I think he wanted people to just live the experience with not having their mind playing a factor with the numbers. But, like I said, at least if you don't want to reveal these numbers for whatever reason, just tell it. A lot of people mentioned that Avi was super nice to deal with and he was, until I asked him these questions.

Nope! According to a buddy I let try it, he says the mild plate shaves just like a standard gap Wolfman WR2. The gap on those is .95, but from what I understand is a very mild shaver. IMO, numbers don’t really mean anything unless compared to the exact razor.

Based on the Edit I made in a previous post, I agree with that. Comparing the 0.68 and 0.84 of the Game Changer is easy. Comparing other razors strictly on blade gap alone when there is a lot of other factors to consider is a bit tricky as I have stated with the Timeless 0.95 and the Muhle R41.
