Wrong? If it looks like something normal to you and anyone else, something that you would easily do to prove that a lather is long-lasting, more power to you. Who am I to judge what's correct and wrong?

Mauro tests soaps and creams to the nth degree, none of this lathering it up and shave with it nonsense like most of us 
He will paint it on thick and dry and keep adding water until it collapses to understand the water ratio window, smother it all over his face with his hands and then try to scrape it off with his fingernails to... I have no idea why. Not sure what he's doing in the OP but there will be a solid reason for it no doubt about that, I would guess he's trying to prematurely dry it out, as I say the man tests every possible aspect of a product to fully understand it before attempting to shave with it.
