So, you think the dude in the photo is picking Nucifera and just found a really juicy one?

You're culturally deprived.

Ben Hur ?

1954 (in the OP), 1980 reflected influence (my speculation).

I see a hint of Kabuki influence.

I'm going to say it's a Bullgoose 10th year Anniversary LE and looks to be called Samurai.

If so that's an amazing handle, absolutely gorgeous!!!

"Who's the head bull-goose loony around here?"

That's a Bingo, although I didn't think I'd quite got to calling all of those numbers yet!

Did you cheat?

Thanks for the compliment. We're highly pleased with how this one turned out. More on that subject later.

Great looking handle. I really like it. I know the movie and made an assumption after I saw your second post with the kanji on it, which you confirmed. Hope this makes it into your line.

OK... I was really looking to buy a paladin brush for quite a long time... But with this handle, you REALLY got me, BIG time! I am looking forward to this release. Any idea when they will be available? I just don't want to miss them! I am stunned by how amazing they are!

I expect Phil will post a thread somewhere else very soon (possibly today). I don't want to over-run the Artisan Corner.

All of the details haven't been worked out yet. This will be run differently than any project like this we've been involved with before. Bullgoose Shaving commissioned the brushes, which haven't been made yet. We will produce a numbered series of 10 of each of the seven brushes (assuming advance orders are placed for 10 of each). Bullgoose will run the project; however, we'll certainly maintain involvement. Stay tuned.
