Thanks, Dave! Just landed in Denver. There appears to be more lather on your brush than snow on the runway here.

Six days on the road and I’m gonna make it home tonight.

Thanks for sharing your journey, adventure, Odyssey- and skill as a brush maker. I'm sure you'll rest well in your own bed.

This project was really a labor of love and I'm sure we will all enjoy our Samurais for years to come.  Knowing all the details of its origin and production make it that much more special.

Peace.

Thanks, Chris and to everyone else who has posted here in support of this offering. We really appreciate it. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to keep up with replies over the past week. But I’ve followed as well as I could. This has been a great experience for all of us.

A great looking brush looks even better with the knot full of lather Biggrin

I'm most familiar with The Flying Burrito Brothers' recordings of it, including the performance at Altamont. But I remember Dave Dudley's (1963).

That doesn't look like a whole lot of fun.  I'm not a big fan of cross country trips, unless it's a vacation and I'm sight seeing along the way.

Thank you for all the work you put into these brushes and into this thread.  It's been great to read, and follow the journey.

My brush should be here tomorrow.

Ken does great work and, he is also incredibly creative. He came up with a concept that honors both the tenth anniversary of BullGoose Shaving and the seventh anniversary of The Shave Nook Forum. The Seven Samurai project was born.

There will be seven different resin colors with only 10 handles made in each color. We are still working on the details but, the knots are 26mm in diameter with a free loft of 47mm and, the knots have that nice gel tip feature that so many people are wild about. Ken and Cody really outdid themselves on this project.

Please stay tuned for further details. In the meantime, here are a few teaser photos.

Indeed they get the beautiful collection of handles and the brush altogether is also looking beautiful too... Beautiful Collection!
